Acceptable Use Terms and Conditions
By using these services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions; you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Webcity Australia from any loss, liability, claim, damage and expense arising from or related to your content or use of any services provided by Webcity Australia. If you are not satisfied with these terms and conditions then you must discontinue use of our hosting services.
Webcity may revise these terms and conditions from time to time by posting a new version of this document on our site (http://www..webcity.com.au/online-storage). Any new version of these terms will be effective within 14 days of posting unless Webcity considers (in its sole discretion) that a period shorter than 14 days is necessary to protect the integrity, security or smooth operation of Webcity services. As such, users should consult this document on a regular basis to ensure that they are familiar with the most recent version.
You accept legal responsibility for use of the account, are at least 18 years of age or (if younger) have your parent's or legal guardian's permission before using our services.
The services must not be used for unlawful purposes. Any use of these services which violates any local, state, federal or international laws applicable to Webcity Australia, your jurisdiction, or any jurisdiction that your site is subject to is strictly prohibited.
You agree that use of our services is at your own risk. The services are provided by Webcity Australia on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Webcity expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from Webcity, its employees or associates or through their respective websites shall create any warranty not expressly stated in these terms and conditions.
Webcity will automatically renew your service, and where a fee is due, 14 days prior to expiry of such service shall rebill a customer's credit card, where credit card details have been provided. You acknowledge that if you do not wish to continue with your service, it is your responsibility to request cancellation of your service before it is automatically renewed.
Customers must therefore agree to keep their account email address active and must accept emails from webcity, some of which may be promotional or marketing in nature.
Customer must not open more than 1 FTP or rsync connection at the same time, all connections must be sequential.
If a customer connects to their account from more than the allowed number of IPs for their account type per day, the customer account will be suspended.
The online storage service is NOT intended to be used as a file sharing system, it is for storage and backup puposes only.
